Confessions After a Year of Being a Mom

1. Motherhood is tough.  Being a nursing mother is tougher.  Being a working, nursing, mother is tougher.

2.  Life is better with a baby.  

3.  I once was the person who absolutely loved to go to work.  I wanted to be there early.  I wanted to be involved on every committee.  I felt like I was the teacher the principal liked because I volunteered for everything and my fellow teachers gladly let me.  Motherhood shifted my interests totally.  Now I get giddy at lunch thinking about getting to get Jett right after school.
